Anasina Gray-Barberio

Anasina Gray-Barberio is a strong proponent for equality of opportunity for women, young people, families and underrepresented communities. She is a proud Pacific Islander from the tiny but heartful nation – Samoa.  She has worked in various roles in the community sector to promote multicultural community voices and disrupt the systems that keep them constrained. In her spare time Anasina dedicates her energy towards improving health disparity for the Pasefika community through partnerships with hospital and medical services. She is a founding steering committee member for Multicultural Women’s Alliance against family violence. She believes that diversity and inclusion is about intentionally electing to put ourselves in contexts that are different to our own in order to collectively bring about meaningful change
