James Seow

James Seow is a happiness and well-being facilitator, and community activator. He is undertaking the Williamson Community Leadership Program at Leadership Victoria, and studies positive psychology at CQ University. James has extensive experience in the community development, engagement, cross-cultural leadership, diversity, social inclusion, and LGBTIQA+ empowerment sectors. He worked in multicultural affairs in state government, and facilitates a Victorian HIV network at Monash University and Alfred Health.

As a Board and committee member of organisations like the Victorian Multicultural Commission, City of Port Phillip, Victorian Pride Centre, Switchboard Victoria, and ACON, he provides advice and insights on multicultural, intersectional and vulnerable communities to influence policies and programs. Having a deep interest in mental health and human connections, he frequently facilitates health education workshops at Thorne Harbour Health.
