Centre for Culture, Ethnicity and Health

The Centre for Culture, Ethnicity and Health (CEH) is a not-for-profit organisation focused on improving the health of people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, as well as mobile populations.

CEH grew out of North Richmond Community Health (NRCH), which has a strong history of tailoring its services to meet the changing needs of a very culturally diverse location.

CEH works with health professionals and community members alike, providing health education sessions to communities and training around health literacy, language services and cultural competence to professionals. CEH also has an extensive library of resources on multiculturalism and health and manages Health Translations on behalf of DHHS.

Since its inception, CEH has continued to develop its understanding of the way health and wellbeing intersects with culture and ethnicity.
