enliven Victoria is an incorporated body and ACNC registered health promoting charity aimed at promoting the prevention, management and control of disease in human beings.
It does this via
- Improving the health literacy of the communities enliven works with
- Use of plain language to ensure best practice communication in line with international standards
- Increasing the capacity of key stakeholders and customers to understand, value and implement health literacy principles, thereby increasing the ability of carers, families and communities to prevent, better manage and control chronic disease
- Engaging in primary prevention activity to address newly arising issues in our community that contribute to poor health outcomes in human beings
- Ensuring an equity lens is applied across our work (with a focus on the socioecological determinants of health).
